Let's take a look back!!

Yes, we are in February but let's take a look back on some of our first projects. We were, of course, inspired by FALL! We are so lucky to be surrounded by amazing colors in nature! 2nd graders "I can" was "I can use texture in my artwork." Standard met: 0.1.1.5.1; 0.2.1.5.1 First, students collected leaves outside. We glued the leaves on to boards and pressed tinfoil on top to create a texture rubbing. Next, we created a chalk pastel background using warm colors.

3rd Graders "I can" was "I can use warm and cool colors to create a color scheme." Standard met: 0.1.1.5.1; 0.2.1.5.1 Students were also inspired by the element of space! I was riding my bike through the park and took these pictures to inspire my students.
